Welcome to Sports Academy, a network of free football schools and track-and-field contests established nationwide starting in 1990s. Founded by Jan Åge Fjørtoft, our mission is to provide kids with memorable and enjoyable sports activities for young athletes.

  • Karsten Warholm signs race numbers

    Over the weekend, we organized a free-of-charge track-and-field camp. Olympic champion Karsten Warholm said it best in his personal greeting to the kids: "Rain and bad weather create character.

  • Track-and-field School in Gursken

    Costs are skyrocketing in grassroots sports. To address this issue, we initiated a no-cost track-and-field school for local kids, emphasizing the importance of well-being and inclusion.

  • Football School heads to Scotland

    In collaboration with 360 Sports Consultancy and East Kilbride Community Trust, we conducted a session for a talented group of boys near Glasgow.

  • Gursken Conferanse 2023

    This year we organized the Gursken Conference for the fifth time in collaboration with Sparebanken Møre and Thon Hotels. The aim of the conference is to be a meeting place for politics and business. Local and national.

  • Jan Åge Fjørtoft Football School back in Gursken!

    This sunny day brought together 72 girls and boys, ranging in age from 5 to 12, for an inspiring experience. This event has a special place in my heart as I hosted my first school back in 1990. It warms my heart to see players from the '90s returning with their own children now!
